This bass lark is proving a little bit easier than the beats. I thought writing a bass line for today's beat would be really difficult but, while it wasn't easy, the general pattern emerged quite quickly. That said, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't shocked by the results.

I was originally playing around with electro-synth bass (and the bass in the verse section is still very much a product of that) but, for kicks, I thought I'd see how some live bass sounded. I quite like it (and so does everyone else who has heard it) but it's definitely weird.
I do have the feeling that it's not quite finished but hopefully I can come back to it and refine it a bit.
